tattoo nation

During the whole place and during the reign of the ancient Celts established their culture and traditions through symbols. With no written word is used instead of symbols which became a high art form. However, their symbols is deeper than that. Celtic Warriors, in particular, are famous for showing their history, their heritage, beliefs and personal qualities in battle with a form of body tattooing.

Tattoos very complex and beautiful, we see that adorn modern Celts, some are made by spirals, interlacing geometric shapes, crosses and other Celtic artwork. However, these designs have little in common with old tattoos. Tattoos in the Celtic world have been mainly limited to warriors going into battle. Warriors carefully chosen and their designs are very personal. Tribal Tattoo Art takes the form of animals and other symbolic designs. It could be much more of vortices, spirals and knot work required. These drawings are so well known today and as derived from Celtic Christians, long after the Celtic warriors.

Celtic Warriors were tattoo or painting?

Ancient tribal tattoos are the domain of the Picts they were a group of tribes living in regions of Britain. After about the 11th century have come to be grouped into a new term, "The Scotsman".

Picto story soon began recording in the dark ages when they were still the dominant power in northern Britain that was currently controlled by the Gauls. The Picts were farmers living in small communities. Their source of wealth derived from their livestock and crops like wheat, barley, oats and rye.

However, the Picts were a strong and brave people who loved the fight and they are really known for their piracy and attacks. They were also a religious people who loved the nature and objects around them. They assigned many meanings and distinctions of these things and we think that maintaining your photos on your body during the struggle that would able to take all its meaning and provide the protection needed for their gods and goddesses.

Warriors have also ensured that the body decoration ALE would be identified in battle and in death.

It is unclear whether the Picts actually cut or if they are painted during the battle. Whatever they do now is known as a tattoo. What is clear is that Celtic warriors made their enemies in blue-painted bright green and adorned with a multitude of symbolic images.

There is no definitive answer to the question whether painted or tattooed the name Britannia certainly points to it, since it is derived from a Celtic word meaning land of "the painted people. "

However, it was written by a historian 240BCE Greek, in reference to Roman history. He said that the Picts drew figures on their skin, after giving him a hot iron over themselves. Later, rub the sap of the plant Pastel on burned areas. There had been no other mention Celtic tattoos until 200 years later, when the Emperor Honorius to end these words in a poem:

The troops guarding the borders of Britain.
Barbarians reigning in Scotland
Given its dying body of the Picts
Cutting raw images with iron.

An additional 200 years had to pass before another was mentioned on the tattoo. Seville Spanish Bishop said in his version of the Middle Ages that the Picts will pique their designs on their skin before rubbing them on SAP.

The Elite

The tattoo was perhaps initially maintained for the elite as a way to distinguish the rest of their community and as a way of describing the status, religious beliefs and passions. Based on rare recordings posted to the Roman invasions are mentions the fact that sometimes visions of body decoration has been observed.

In fact, Julius Caesar is the color produced by the plant and resulting cake Vitrum at about the glass floor. You may be referred to a pigment that contains iron, as no knowledge of the existence of the factory at the time.
