tattoo blistering?
so i got a new tattoo two days ago (on the 28th) and just a little while ago the yellow and a small part of the dark blue has started to blister. it's my second tattoo so i have used all the proper cleaning methods. dye and scent free soap, H2Ocean Tattoo Aftercare Lotion, I've tried to not wear socks [i got the tattoo on the top of my foot] or shoes. i know the blistering is weird, my first one was no problem at all. it doesn't hurt more then a tattoo normally should but it's weird. i think for now im going to stop putting lotion on them and let it dry out. no ink is running out or any pus or anything it's just weird have you ever seen this or dealt with it??
ps. please don't give me the tattoos are stupid line. because i really dont care.
Blistering is not normal at all, scabbing ,drying up,swelling, and redness is normal. But not blistering.Tattoos are not supposed to blister. If your tattoo continues this, with signs of infection,go to the shop that did the work and have them take a look at it.
Since you have only had it for two days, don't use the lotion yet.The lotion is for after 3-4 days if healing. In this time use A&D ointment.Nothing potroleum based.Wash it with only your hand and lightly with antibacterial soap.If after 4 days it still continues go back to the shop cause it can possiably be infection.(dirty needle,no gloves, or dirty work area.)Things like that.
